I'm Rushan Khan, a photographer and visual storyteller based in Ahmedabad, India.
I’m drawn to places, people, and moments that have a certain feeling to them. I shoot everything from landscapes and architecture to candid moments and the strange little details that usually go unnoticed.
Photography started as a way of documenting the things around me, but it gradually became something more deliberate. I enjoy finding atmosphere in ordinary places, playing with light and composition, and sometimes making familiar things feel slightly unfamiliar.
Alongside shooting, I work extensively with digital editing and post-production, using Lightroom and Photoshop to shape the final image while keeping the photograph itself at the center.
Subliminal Spaces is an ongoing project exploring that feeling of familiarity becoming slightly unsettling. Most of my other work is simply an ongoing archive of places I've been, people I've met, and things I thought were worth stopping for.
I shoot, I edit, I wander around with a camera, and occasionally I get something I'm actually proud of.
